SUGGESTED ITINERARY:
1st day, Arrival Athens Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel, Overnight
2nd day, ATHENS SIGHTSEEING Breakfast and discover Athens by a half day guided sightseeing tour. Start with a panoramic City tour to see among other the Parliament Building, the University, National Library and Academy of Arts. Be impressed by the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium, carved from marble and famous as the site of the first modern Olympics in 1896. Next visit the spectacular Athens Acropolis. Explore one of the most famous archaeological sites on earth! Walk in the footsteps of the greats and finish the tour with an eye-opening visit to the New Acropolis Museum, home to the most impressive treasures unearthed from the Acropolis and ancient Athens. The rest of the day is free at your leisure to soak up the lively atmosphere of the city and dine on delicious Greek cuisine. Overnight in Athens
3rd day Delphi After Breakfast drive through the region of Viotia, crossing the towns of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova arriving at Delphi, once the centre (navel) of the Ancient World! Visit the Sanctuary sites, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Mount Parnassus, and uncover the mysterious legend of the Oracle of Delphi as you tour the ruins of the Treasury and the Temple of Apollo. Also visit the Delphi Museum, home to incredible Ancient Greek relics. Stop for lunch in the modern village of Delphi before proceed to Kalambaka. Dinner overnight in Kalambaka
4th day Meteora Monasteries After Breakfast at Hotel discover the fascinating heritage of Meteora on an visit to the floating Monasteries , an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the 6 remaining monasteries are still active today. Established between the 12th and 16th centuries, the monks chose this isolated and hard to reach location to build their monasteries in order to escape the political and religious upheaval of the Middle Ages. Visit up to two of these ancient sites and enjoy the amazing views across the Plain of Thessaly. Afterwards, depart to Athens . The evening is free at your leisure to explore the atmosphere of Syntagma Square or enjoy the city’s lively nightlife. Overnight in Athens.
5th day Ferry to Naxos After breakfast transfer to the Pier in Piraeus to catch a ferry to Naxos, a Greek island nestled in the heart of the Cyclades island group known for its picture-perfect beaches and traditional villages. Journey across the spectacular Aegean Sea before finally arriving in Naxos. Transfer to your hotel and get settled in before enjoying the remainder of the day exploring the island at your leisure. Overnight in Naxos
6th day NAXOS Island Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a day at your leisure on the idyllic island of Naxos. The island is well-known for its beautiful beaches, the perfect place to while away a sunny journey. We recommend an optional full-day cruise around the islands of Paros,
7th day Naxos Island at leisure for swimming and more Enjoy a day at your leisure on the idyllic island of Naxos. Enjoy an unforgettable day at sea, surrounded by the crystalline waters of the Aegean, or book an optional full day boat trip (SIC) either to DELOS-MYKONOS to visit the Ancient Sites on Delos Island and the famous Island of the international jet set the best of the Cyclades Islands, or to the island of Paros,
8th day, Ferry to SANTORINI Breakfast at hotel. At indicated time will be transferred to the port and travel by ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel.
9th day, SANTORINI Breakfast and day at leisure to enjoy the sun, the unforgettable view to the caldera and enjoy the most romantic sunset in the world in Oia Village. We recommend an optional full-day Island tour with visit of the ancient excavations in Akrotiri.
10th day, Departure Breakfast and transfer at indicated time to the Airport for your flight home.
